BLITHE SPIRIT

First performance

BY NOEL COWARD

PHOTOGRAPHY BY LOWRI BURKINSHAW

The story centres around the cantankerous writer Charles Condomine who calls on the services of a clairvoyant to gather inspiration for his next book. However, on inviting the medium to his house to conduct a séance, the scheme backfires and Condomine finds himself haunted by his eccentric late wife.

A sterling job in bringing this well-crafted play to fruition and for this I applaud her for another success.

CIRCLE & STALLS

A Blithe Spirit with the energy and enthusiasm to clear the clouds from any crystal ball

Full of charm, chaos and chuckles… a production which respects the original material, but has enough playful twists and turns to keep you coming back for more, even if you have seen it many times before.

The ghostly theme of Blithe Spirit gave me the new opportunity of playing around with not only the sound of ghosts but how ghosts so mischevious might cause havoc in the real world.
