Also, the sound designer, Hannah Bracegirdle, deserves a mention for the highly effective and spine-tingling music

MANCHESTER THEATRES

They toyed with our senses time and time again with outstanding sound design that truly made us feel the story of Macbeth rather than just passively watching it.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Hannah Bracegirdle and Laura Bowler’s sound work is a highlight, especially the deep, resonant thump of a real drum, which keeps tension simmering throughout.

What a delight to take a spin on something so iconic and genuinely a bit spooky. It is always a delight to do these Shakespeares and I hope to contine working with this wonderful company. Long into the future.
