BY STUDENTS OF FRED LONGWORTH HIGH SCHOOL

Performed by the students from Fred Longworth High School as part of the Royal Exchange’s Local Exchange Festival, ‘Family Heirlooms’ was created from the stories gathered by the students from their relatives.

Through a mix of mediums including poetry, monologues, videos and sound design, let these stories gave an insight into local family tales.

Faciliting for 8 weeks at Fred Longworth to shape this original show from scratch was a joy. Though only short, the show was a culmintaion of everyones hardwork and shaping this piece with all the students stories was a pleasure.
